ServisPromPak attended INTERPACK 2023- world’s largest exhibition for processing and packaging
INTERPACK is an international trade fair held in Düsseldorf every third year since 1958. The focus is on packaging materials, packaging machines and related process technology for the food, beverage, confectionery, bakery, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, non-foodand industrial goods sectors.
INTERPACK 2023 was held in Düsseldorf from May 4, 2023 – May 10, 2023. 2807 exhibitors from 61 countries showcased the power and creativity of the packaging industry with their technologies. Altogether approx. 143,000 visitors from 155 countries have attended the exhibition.
The next INTERPACK will take place in Düsseldorf from 07.05.2026-13.05.2026.
SERVISPROMPAK ATTENDED PLAST EURASIA ISTANBUL 2022
The representatives of SERVISPROMPAK have visited Plast Eurasia Istanbul 2022 which is dedicated to plastic, its production technologies and equipment.
Plast Eurasia Istanbul is the largest plastics industry fair held every year in Europe, is organized by TUYAP in cooperation with PAGEV (Turkish Plastics Industry Foundation) in Tüyap Fair Convention and Congress Center, Istanbul. The exhibition featured: raw materials and chemicals, polymer equipment, molds, recycling and disposal, heating, cooling and control equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, related publications etc.
SERVISPROMPAK ATTENDED K 2022-The World’s No. 1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber
SERVISPROMPAK has visited the international specialized exhibition of the polymer industry in Düsseldorf (19th -26th October).
At the exhibition, our representatives got acquainted with the innovations from the key international Leaders in the polymer industry, learned more about the technologies, trends and development vectors of this industry, as well as has visited the stands of our partners.
The exhibition has presented: machinery and equipment for the production of plastics and rubber, equipment for their processing, raw materials, plastic and rubber products, auxiliary materials and related services.
The next exhibition K 2025 will be held in Düsseldorf in 2025 (8th-15th October).
Benefits of using polyethylene in packaging. Double seam vs Euroseam

For example, packages 0.100x600x1200 mm and 0.080x600x1200 mm have a wide euro-seam and are able to withstand significant loads. They replace from 2 to 3 analogues of LDPE 0.060x600x1200 mm, which reduces the cost of goods.
Benefits of using polyethylene in packaging
Many manufacturers of packaging materials have appreciated the positive properties of polyethylene a long time ago:
- simple processing,
- convenient storage,
- lack of consequences when exposed to precipitation,
- small weight,
- high strength,
- elasticity.
Another advantage is the reliability of the connection. Parts of the material are heated until melting begins, and then strongly compressed. Cohesive forces occurs at the molecular level, therefore it is highly reliable.
IMPORTANT: The strength of the seam is affected by two factors: the quality of the raw material and the thickness of the material!
The following are the features and differences of the seams.
DOUBLE SEAM
In the manufacture of flat poly bags, W-Cut handle bags and other packaging, two parallel seams are often used. To obtain a seam 1-2 mm thick, devices with two parallel heating elements are used.
It is a mistake to assume that if one fastening line is broken, then the product inside the package will be held by the second seam. Practice has shown, that polyethylene is torn at the place of solder failure.
Euroseam: advantages and features of manufacturing
To create a euroseam (it is also called a wide seam), special equipment is used. The specification of the device is that it heats the material from both sides. This allows you to get an even and extremely strong connection with a width of 5 to 10 mm.
Polyethylene of white, black and any other color is suitable for soldering. The dimensions of the future packaging also do not matter. We produce bags with logo of various shapes (W-Cut handle bag, D-Cut handle bag, U-Cut handle bag), flat poly bag and stretch film (including for food use). “ServisPromPak” implements a project for the construction of a polyolefin products plant in Grodno with a production capacity of up to 300 tons per month of finished products. The enterprise will be located at the Gaspadarchei Street site in Grodno. The project involves establishment of a full-cycle production of polyethylene bags and film in a wide range of food packaging and industrial goods.
The production building is equipped with hi-tech equipment which meets all the requirements of a modern factory.
Production is divided into the following process areas:
- Raw materials and finished products warehouse.
- Extrusion site.
- Packaging manufacture site.
- Flexography workshop.
- Feedstock recycling section.
- Administrative part and amenity rooms.
